By letter: Admission Arrangement Consultation

St Mark’s Primary School

St Mark’s Road,

Weston-Super-Mare BS22 7PU

You may view the proposed 2019/20 School Admission Arrangements from the documents below.

The amendment refers to:

  • The inclusion within the Admission Arrangements and ‘Appendix 1- Reference Form’ of the words ‘or person appointed by the Governing Body of the Church’. This is indicated in red text within the Admission Arrangement Consultation document. This amendment will enable a wider range of persons to provide confirmation that a child satisfies the Church attendance requirements set out within the oversubscription criteria described in section 5 of the proposed 2019/20 Admission Arrangements.

What happens next?

Following closure of the consultation, the School governors (on behalf of the Bath and wells Multi Academy Trust) will meet to consider any comments or objections returned during the consultation period and a formal response will be issued to the consultees. When the Admission Arrangements have been approved in final form by the Governing Body and the Trust, the documents will be published on the St Mark’s Ecumenical Anglican/Methodist Primary School website before the statutory deadline of 15th March 2018. All consultees will be informed of this publication.
