School Council
St Mark’s School Council is made up of eighteen children who have been elected by their class to help improve the school.
They meet several times a year to exchange ideas about how the school could be improved and how best to spend their budget.
Sub groups also meet throughout the year to organise events such as the Christmas and Summer Fairs, Cyberbullying presentations and other fundraising events.
There are many different jobs within the School Council. This year the roles are filled by the following people:
Chair - Paige
Vice Chair - Ben
Secretary - Heather
Treasurers - Imogen and Chloe
Publicity Officer - Jessica
The School Council wear green special badges so that they can be easily identified. They are more than happy to listen if you have a good idea to share.
There is a school council election every year so everyone gets an opportunity to be elected.
