School Meals

Payment

Dinner money (£2.90 per day) is payable via Arbor.

Dining Arrangements
Meals are eaten in the hall or studio. Children with packed lunches may eat outside in fine weather. Packed lunches must be self-sufficient. Water is provided.

Nut-Free Policy
Due to allergies, nut products (e.g., peanut butter, nut mixes) are not allowed in lunch boxes.

Free School Meals (FSM) & Universal Free School Meals
North Somerset has replaced paper FSM applications with an online checker. Parents receive instant eligibility decisions. Entitlement is per child, not per family.

Children eligible for FSM retain it until they finish primary, secondary, or sixth form. Reapply in the summer before transitioning to a new school stage. If changing schools within the same stage, email fsm@n-somerset.gov.uk to update records.

Parents of non-FSM children can apply via www.n-somerset.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals (Citizen’s Portal).

Even if your child gets universal free meals in Reception, Year 1, or Year 2, apply if eligible—this funds the school and provides free daily milk. See leaflets for details.
