Friendship
Our Christian Value of FRIENDSHIP is an intrinsic part of all aspects of school life for staff and children alike. At St Mark’s we seek to provide children with high quality education rooted in Christianity that will support them throughout their lives enabling them to ‘Live Life in all it’s fullness’ John 10:10 our Trust mission statement.
Each Core Christian Value is represented to the children in a range of ways eg. A dictionary definition, the reason why we have chosen that value, which bible story it links to, children’s voice showing what that value means to them and through art work.
Mark 2:1-12
A few days later Jesus went back to Capernaum and the news spread that he was at home. So many people came together, that there was no room left inside the house and the crowd filled the front and back gardens. Jesus was preaching the message to them when four people arrived, carrying their friend, who could not walk, to Jesus. Because of the crowd, however, they could not get the man to him. So, they made a hole in the roof right above the place where Jesus was. When they had made an opening, they let their friend down, lying on his mat. Seeing how much faith the friends had, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “My son, your sins are forgiven.”
